Who operates this application

EmailAssistant is operated privately by the owner of mypilink.uk. It is a personal-use tool and is not offered as a commercial service.

What data is accessed

With your explicit consent through Google sign-in, EmailAssistant accesses your Gmail data using the Google Gmail API. This includes message headers (sender, recipients, subject, date) and message bodies in your account. Only Google accounts that have authorised the application are accessed.

How the data is used

• Message content is used to generate summaries, categories and reminders for the account holder.
• To produce those summaries, message content may be sent to a third-party AI provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) over an encrypted connection, solely so that the provider can return a response.
• Data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than the features described above.

Storage and retention

• OAuth credentials and access tokens are stored locally on the machine that runs the application. They are not uploaded to any server operated by us.
• Message content is processed in memory and is not retained in a database. Any local cache can be removed by deleting the application data directory.

Sharing

Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone, other than the AI provider described above, which acts solely to process a request on your behalf.

Google API Services User Data Policy

EmailAssistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deleting data

You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once access is revoked the application can no longer read your mail. To remove any locally cached data, delete the application data directory on the machine running it.
