EmailAssistant

EmailAssistant is a small, privately operated tool that helps its owner read and triage their own Gmail inbox. It connects to Gmail through the official Google Gmail API and summarises incoming mail so that it can be processed more quickly.

What it does

• Reads messages from the mailboxes of the small number of people who have explicitly authorised it.
• Produces summaries and suggested groupings of those messages.
• Runs on the operator machine. There is no public sign-up and no hosted service.

Access

EmailAssistant is not open to the public. Only Google accounts that have completed the Google sign-in consent flow and been granted access by the operator can use it. Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google account permissions page.
